Health & Safety Notice
Cycling can be a strenuous and hazardous activity so there is an element of risk.
On any Phoenix CTC ride in which you cycle:
Physical exertion is involved so you must not cycle against medical advice.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit for any cycle ride in which you participate and that there is no medical reason that could prevent you from fully taking part in it.
Your cycle must be in road-worthy and good condition.
You must observe all rules of the road of the country in which you’re cycling in.
You must be a competent cyclist and in the interests of safety you must not take risks.
You must be able to maintain an average speed of 12 mph whilst cycling.
Please consult your doctor if you are in any way worried about your fitness for an event.
