Nine members took part in the final Phoenix-CTC event of the year, the Finistere trip, from 3rd to the 10th September. This week-long trip included overnight stops at Huelgoat, Pont-Aven, Douarnenez (2 nights), Plougastel-Daoulas and Roscoff.
There will be a write-up of this event in the Autumn newsletter which will be issued later in September.

Phoenix-CTC has four super cycling events this year, a channel hopper and two cycle tours in France and a weekender in the Isle of Wight.
‘Further Details’ were emailed to the 13 participants of the St Malo to Cherbourg Cycle Tour yesterday (Sunday). They include an outline itinerary, hotel and ferry details and the latest costing.
Three of the four events this year have now had ‘Further Details’ issued; the fourth event is the Finistere Cycle Tour which is later in the year.
‘Final Details’ for the Dieppe Channel Hopper at the beginning of May will be issued to participants next week.
If you’re a member of the CTC then you have the opportunity to do some cycle touring in France with Phoenix-CTC. All our events are open to CTC members.
There will be three cycling events in France this year, starting with a channel hopper to Dieppe in early May. Details of this event, a cycle tour from St Malo to Cherbourg in June and another in Finistere in September can be found on this website under ‘Events for 2015’.
If you’d like to enter any of them then you’ll need to be quick as the closing date for entries is Thursday, 15th January.

The details of Channel Hopper to Dieppe and the Cycle Tour of Finistere have been updated on this website as some ferry times have changed. Also the estimated costs of these events has reduced slightly.
